Blinken: The US and Turkey have reached an agreement on the vision for Syria’s future

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken stated that Washington and Ankara have reached an overall agreement on the vision for Syria’s future.

“We are focused on the opportunity we and the Syrian people have been given. We are committed to freeing the Syrian people from Bashar al-Assad’s shackles. During our discussions with [Turkish] President Erdoğan and Foreign Minister [Hakan] Fidan, we reached an overall agreement regarding our actions over the vision for Syria’s future,” Blinken said.
