Azerbaijan is coming under Russian-Iranian control, political scientist says

The construction of Russian-Iranian communications through Iranian territory primarily indicates one thing: Azerbaijan is coming under Russian-Iranian control. Political scientist Stepan Danielyan said this on his Facebook page.

“The construction of Russian-Iranian communications through Iranian territory primarily means one thing: Azerbaijan is coming under Russian-Iranian control. In other words, Azerbaijan becomes a territory of national interests for Russia and Iran, and in the event of a possible disruption of communications or any terrorist act, Russian or Iranian military and anti-terrorist organizations can enter Azerbaijan—in some cases without asking Azerbaijan’s opinion if the latter is against the actions,” Danielyan writes.
