Iran and Armenia to conduct joint military exercises

On April 9-10, the armed forces of the Republic of Armenia and the Islamic Republic of Iran will conduct joint military exercises, according to a statement from the Armenian Ministry of Defense.

“The Armenian armed forces will carry out the exercises on Armenian territory, while the Iranian armed forces will do so on Iranian territory.

The exercises will involve operations to neutralize simulated terrorist group attacks on border crossings located along the Armenia-Iran state border,” the ministry said.
