At some point, Azerbaijan will try to commit genocide
against men. Military expert Karen Vrtanesyan said this in his meeting with ABC
Media with regard to the arrest of the 68-year-old man, who was being
transferred to Armenia in the ICRC vehicle.
“Moreover, at some point they can demand that the RA
authorities extradite the boys, army officers and generals who participated in
military operations during the first Artsakh war and in the past 30 years in
general,” Vrtanesyan said.
According to him, this will become a playing card in the
hands of Azerbaijan. Afterward, they will demand that other people be
extradited from the Republic of Armenia.
“If the RA fails to allow the extradition from the
territory of Armenia, Azerbaijan will call for the extradition of a certain
person from a third country, considering the tacit consent from the current RA
authorities. In fact, this is a rather likely scenario in view of the inaction
and reprehensible consent from the RA authorities,” Karen Vrtanesyan
concluded.
To remind, Azerbaijan abducted a 68-year-old man on
his way from Artsakh to Yerevan. He was coming to Armenia to undergo surgery on
his heart. Later, the Azerbaijani side stated that the man had been
put under arrest for his participation in the so-called “Khojaly
operations”.
