Parallel to the nationwide uprising in Artsakh, a protest
action has started outside the office of the Delegation of the European Union
to Armenia. Members of the Republican Party of Armenia are staging the action.
“This is the office of the organization that has
international obligations toward the Armenian nation, that is, the citizens of
the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Artsakh. Still during our time in
office, the EU signed an agreement of cooperation with Armenia, under which the
exercise of the right to self-determination of the people of Artsakh is
inalienable. Today, instead of protecting the right to self-determination of
the people of Artsakh, recognized by the EU itself, it has become the sponsor
of Artsakh’s ‘Azerbaijanization,’” member of the Republican Party of Armenia
Eduard Sharmazanov noted.
Sharmazanov expressed his support for our compatriots from
Artsakh, stating that Artsakh will never be part of Azerbaijan.
“Azerbaijanization of Artsakh will never happen. Just so Nikol, Michel, Ilham
will know. Artsakh will not be part of Azerbaijan,” Eduard Sharmazanov
concluded.
