Ukraine demands UN Security Council urgent meeting

Ukraine, along with three dozen U.N. member states, addressed Ecuador, holding the presidency of the U.N. Security Council, requesting that an urgent UNSC meeting be held to address Russia’s missile and drone attack against Ukraine. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba made an X post on this.

The attacks resulted in multiple civilian casualties and heavy destruction of civilian infrastructure, he wrote.
