
Voter turnout reaches 48.92% with most and least active regions revealed
As of 5:00 p.m., a total of 1,224,957 voters, or 48.92% of eligible citizens, have participated in Armenia’s elections, according to official figures.
Turnout by region is as follows:
Yerevan – 412,168 voters (48.52%)
Aragatsotn Province – 57,999 voters (51.13%)
Ararat Province – 106,622 voters (48.43%)
Armavir Province – 101,408 voters (44.80%)
Gegharkunik Province – 83,348 voters (46.86%)
Lori Province – 106,161 voters (49.77%)
Kotayk Province – 122,692 voters (51.01%)
Shirak Province – 96,077 voters (46.23%)
Syunik Province – 59,215 voters (55.36%)
Vayots Dzor Province – 24,171 voters (54.15%)
Tavush Province – 55,096 voters (53.27%)
The highest turnout has been recorded in Syunik Province, while the lowest participation rate is in Armavir Province.
