Foreign Minister provides details on TRIPP

Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan spoke about Armenia-US cooperation, particularly the TRIPP project, during today’s Cabinet meeting.

“We are launching the process of ratifying the framework agreement on strategic cooperation around the TRIPP project,” Mirzoyan said.

He also noted that the TRIPP Development Company would initially receive land use and construction rights for a period of 49 years.

“The shares will be distributed as follows: 74 percent will belong to the United States, while 26 percent will belong to Armenia,” Mirzoyan stated.
