Zatulin: The events unfolding in Armenia cannot be taken lightly

First Deputy Chairman of the Committee of the State Duma for the CIS and Relations with Russian Nationals Abroad Konstantin Zatulin thinks that the events taking place in Armenia are of a huge scale.

“The policy adopted by the present government is increasingly being disapproved of in Armenian society. It is still difficult to judge how it will all end. Of course, there are certain procedures under Armenian legislation; the government is formed by a parliamentary vote. The majority there are now loyal to Pashinyan. Will this majority remain, or will the MPs take a different stance under popular pressure? It remains to be seen. In any case, I think what is going on there cannot be taken lightly,” Zatulin said.
