Any form of cooperation between Iran and Armenia, including in the field of security, depends on the Armenian Government itself, Iranian Ambassador to Armenia Mehdi Sobhani said.
The diplomat commented on what measures Tehran is ready to take in the context of potential threats against Armenia by Azerbaijan, including encroachments on the Syunik Province.
According to him, the countries that want peace should refrain from making threats in their statements.
“We have expressed our willingness to cooperate based on mutual perceptions. Cooperation with Armenia is possible at any level, but it should be based on mutual agreements,” the ambassador noted.
