37 people killed in Lebanon in last 24 hours in airstrikes
The Israeli army carried out about 20 airstrikes overnight on a neighborhood near Beirut Airport.
The target was Hashem Safieddine, the likely successor of Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah, the press writes, citing Israeli officials. Whether he is alive or not is not known yet.
In the last 24 hours, 37 people were killed and 151 injured in the airstrikes in Lebanon, the country’s Ministry of Health reports.
