Vance to represent US in new round of talks with Iran
US Vice President JD Vance may lead the American delegation in a potential second round of negotiations with Iranian officials, CNN reports, citing sources.
On Tuesday, US President Donald Trump said the next round of talks between the United States and Iran could take place in Pakistan within the next two days.
“If the negotiations lead to another in-person meeting before the ceasefire deadline expires next week, Vice President JD Vance is expected to head the second round of talks with Iranian officials,” the broadcaster reported.
According to officials, both sides have proposed halting uranium enrichment in Iran, but have so far been unable to reach agreement on the timeline.
