You, guys, are scared, you are in awe and terror: Abraham Gasparyan to police

I want to address those judges who supposedly uphold the Mother Law, i.e. the Constitution, who have recently proved once again with their manipulative actions that they are not impartial in their decisions and are unable to protect the state and national interests of the Republic of Armenia, Founding Director of Genesis Armenia Think Tank and Foundation, Candidate of Political Sciences, Associate Professor Abraham Gasparyan said during the protest outside the Constitutional Court building.

“The remark you made regarding some of the provisions of the Declaration of Independence simply disgraces you and the institution you unfortunately represent. In this fragile global security situation, resorting to such adventurism with regard to the interpretation of the Constitution means further weakening Armenia’s positions both internally and externally,” Gasparyan said. According to him, presenting such adventurism to the public as a step contributing to the interests of Armenia does not fit in the brain of any person having common sense and concerned about the national and state interests of Armenia. “This police cordon, which surrounded the Government building a little while ago, with various red and black berets, protects only one person from the Armenian people. They are not protecting the Armenian people from this nation-destroying scourge, but the opposite. And a little while ago, the performance that was shown here—the provocative rhetoric, not knowing how to negotiate, not sticking to basic rules of etiquette—just attests to the fact that you guys are scared, you are in a state of terror,” Gasparyan said.
