At 4:49 p.m. today, the Crisis Management Center of the Kotayk Regional Rescue Department was informed that an explosion had occurred in the non-operational smelter of HrazJEK JSC, causing casualties.
The operative group of the fire-rescue squad of the regional rescue department of the RA MIA and one combat unit were sent to the scene.
According to early reports, six people were taken to a medical center, where E. H., born in 1978, died.
