Ruben Mkhitaryan: I am ready to support Vardan Ghukasyan

Ruben Mkhitaryan, the Gyumri mayoral candidate for My Strong Community party, has issued a statement:

“Dear residents of Gyumri, thank you for standing by me during this important phase. Please know that every vote I received from you is invaluable to me.

As the mayoral candidate from My Strong Community party for the Gyumri community council, I declare that I am ready—without any preconditions and without aspiring to any position—to vote for the opposition candidate, Vardan Ghukasyan, who received the most votes from the people of Gyumri. I promised you that if I do not win, I would support the opposition candidate who receives the most votes from the people of Gyumri.

I am pleased to have played a role in ensuring that this ruling force cannot win in Gyumri. I believe that their decline has begun. Wishing wisdom to us all and a bright dawn for my beloved city,” Mkhitaryan said.
