The court hearing on the case of reservist Gagik Voskanyan
is now taking place, APA reports.
As noted, today the prosecutor will issue the final part of
the trumped-up indictment against Voskanyan.
The Azerbaijani side accuses Voskanyan of being “connected
with infiltration and terrorist acts carried out by a reconnaissance unit of
the RA Armed Forces”. The Prosecutor General’s Office of Azerbaijan stated
preventive detention has been imposed on Voskanyan.
The Armenian side has applied to the European Court of Human
Rights for an interim measure against Azerbaijan with regard to Voskanya’s
case.
