Maduro accuses Musk of coup attempt in Venezuela
Elon Musk spent at least $1 billion to finance a coup attempt in Venezuela after the elections in July this year, President of the Republic Nicolás Maduro said on the Venezolana de Television TV Channel.
According to Maduro, María Corina Machado, one of the Opposition leaders, distributed the allocated funds. Musk, in turn, was involved in the financing of terrorist groups. However, the coup plan failed.
“Musk failed,” the president of Venezuela said.
Maduro added that the U.S. government was behind the coup attempt.
