Elon Musk becomes 1st person in history to surpass $400 billion in wealth

American entrepreneur Elon Musk has made history by becoming the first person to exceed a net worth of $400 billion, according to Bloomberg.

As noted, the most recent catalyst was an insider share sale of his privately held SpaceX, which boosted Musk’s net worth by roughly $50 billion.

According to the agency, Musk’s net worth has now reached $439.2 billion.

Earlier, Donald Trump, who won the U.S. presidential elections, announced that Musk and businessman Vivek Ramaswamy would lead a new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). Musk had promised that if Trump were to win, he would cut U.S. budget expenditures by at least two trillion dollars.
