Ursula von der Leyen diagnosed with pneumonia

Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, has been diagnosed with pneumonia and will not be able to perform her duties during the first two weeks of January, a representative of the European Commission told PAP news agency, TASS writes.

“Von der Leyen has been diagnosed with severe inflammation of the lungs,” the EC representative stated.
