Eduard Spertsyan: Armenia v. Turkey match is of particular significance

Two big matches are awaiting the national team of Armenia.
Attacking midfielder of the Armenia national team and Russian FC Krasnodar
Eduard Spertsyan said this, referring to the matches against the Turkish and
Croatian national teams in the UEFA Euro 2024 qualifying tournament.

“These matches are probably going to be the most
crucial ones as we come second in the league standings. We are three points
behind Turkey. This match is of particular significance to us,” Spertsyan
said in his interview with Championat.com.

Within the UEFA Euro 2024 qualifying tournament, on Sept. 8,
Armenia will play the Turkish team in Turkey. On Sept. 11, the Armenian team
will play on its home field against Croatia. The Armenia national team won six
points in three matches and is second in the league standings, being three
points behind Turkey. The latter has had four matches. The Croatia national
football team won four points in two matches and is third in the
standings.
