Rudenko and Azerbaijani Ambassador to the Russian Federation Polad Bulbuloghlu
discussed the situation in the South Caucasus, as well as the reconciliation
process between Yerevan and Baku, Russian Foreign Ministry reports.
“The Russian side reaffirmed the necessity of the full
and immediate unblocking of the Lachin corridor and that of the restoration of
transport links in both directions in accordance with the statement of November
9, 2020. They also reaffirmed the necessity to ensure favorable life conditions
for the people of Nagorno-Karabakh,” reads the report.
The two parties also referred to Azerbaijan’s response to
the statement of the Russian Foreign Ministry. The latter deemed it not quite
proper.
