FM Spokesperson: Azerbaijan must abide by ICJ decision without any manipulations
Azerbaijan must fully abide by the Feb. 22 decision made by the International Court of Justice without any manipulations or misinterpretation of the text. The Spokesperson for the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ani Badalyan wrote this on her Twitter page, referring to the July 6 decision made by the U.N. International Court of Justice, with regard to Armenia’s request. The reason for the request was the installation of a checkpoint by Azerbaijan in the Lachin corridor.
“The International Court of Justice upheld its decision, obliging Azerbaijan to ensure uninterrupted passage along the Lachin Corridor. The Court’s decision, which is clear and has not changed since Feb. 22, 2023 must be fully abided by Azerbaijan without any manipulations or misinterpretation of the text,” the Spokesperson for the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs writes.
