Galuzin discusses Armenian–Azerbaijani relations normalization in Baku

Russia and Azerbaijan intend to strengthen their cooperation within the framework of the declaration signed by presidents Vladimir Putin and Ilham Aliyev in February 2022, Lenta.ru reports.

The document was discussed during the visit of Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin to Baku.

During the meetings, discussions also covered the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as plans to develop Russian–Azerbaijani economic and humanitarian ties.

“Moscow and Baku have confirmed their intention to increase trade turnover and expand humanitarian projects in the spirit of allied relations,” the publication states.
