Counter-terrorism operation regime lifted in Moscow
The counter-terrorism operation regime has been lifted in Moscow and the Moscow region. The press service of the Federal Security Service of Russia for the city of Moscow and the Moscow region informed TASS about this.
“In accordance with the Federal Law on Combating Terrorism dated March 6, 2006, due to the absence of threats to life, health, property and other legally protected interests of people, the head of the counter-terrorist operation, the head of the Federal Security Service of Russia for the city of Moscow and the Moscow region decided to cancel the counter-terrorist operation legal regime in Moscow and the Moscow region from 09:00 a.m. local time on June 26, 2023,” the message reads.
The Federal Security Service says that currently the situation in the territory of Moscow region is stable. To recall, on June 24, a counter-terrorist operation regime was introduced in Moscow city, Moscow region and Voronezh region. It was introduced in these regions for the first time in history.
