Russia delivers record volume of gas to Spain

Russia supplied Spain with a record volume of gas during the first month of the war in the Middle East, El País reports.

According to the report, import volumes nearly doubled compared to February, reaching approximately 10,000 GWh per month.

Despite sanctions, the European Union continues to allow imports of Russian gas. The restrictions are expected to remain in place until 2027.
