Armed attack in Turkey leaves dead and injured

A 17-year-old armed with a hunting rifle opened fire near a restaurant in the Tarsus district of Mersin Province in southern Turkey, Turkish media report.

According to preliminary information, four people were killed and another eight were injured.

The motives behind the attack remain unknown.
