Ghalibaf re-elected as Iran’s parliament speaker

Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has been re-elected as Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Mehr reports.

Ghalibaf received a large number of votes from lawmakers—235 votes.

He has held the position since 2020 and will serve for another year.
