Russian president leaves for Chukotka
Russian President Vladimir Putin has arrived in Anadyr, RIA Novosti reports, noting that this is the first official visit by the head of state in 2024.
Earlier, the Russian president said many a time that he had not been to Chukotka and wanted to visit the region.
To remind, in September, Putin expressed the need for the development of the hospitality industry in Chukotka: the scenery there attracts tourists despite the cold climate.
The meeting between Erdogan and Putin is being arranged in Ankara.
