Putin will not congratulate Pashinyan for now
Russia prefers to wait for the official results of Armenia’s elections before sending any congratulations, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said.
“It is important here to wait for some final, official results. You know there were many unclear points. We saw numerous reports of violations during the elections. Therefore, we prefer to wait for the official conclusions,” Peskov said in response to a question about whether Russian President Vladimir Putin plans to congratulate Nikol Pashinyan on his election victory.
