
Erdoğan says Turkey remains one of NATO’s strongest allies
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has said Turkey is one of NATO’s strongest allies.
Speaking to reporters after a cabinet meeting in Ankara, Erdoğan said the NATO summit provided an important opportunity to showcase Turkey’s capabilities comprehensively and strengthen its international standing.
The Turkish president spoke positively about the outcomes of the NATO summit held in Ankara, noting that around 4,800 high-ranking representatives of the alliance attended the events.
According to Erdoğan, thanks to its military strength, diplomatic experience, and defense industry capabilities, Turkey continues to play an important role in the transformation of the alliance and remains one of NATO’s strongest allies.
