More than 500 US troops wounded in American military operations against Iran

More than 500 US service members have been wounded in US military operations against Iran, the Associated Press reports, citing a source familiar with the matter.

According to the source, the number of wounded troops “significantly exceeds 500,” which is higher than the official figure released by the Pentagon.

As noted, a total of 18 US service members have been killed so far.

Earlier, The Wall Street Journal reported that the United States was facing the challenge of protecting some 50,000 American troops stationed across the Middle East from Iranian strikes.
