Rubio says Iran not ready to make a deal yet, but ‘will be soon’
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said Washington believes Tehran could change its position on peace talks with the United States in the coming days.
“They violated the MoU within days of it being implemented. We kept our end of it. So, now they are paying the price for it. And maybe they will change their mind here over the next few days,” Rubio said.
According to him, Iran is still not ready to make a deal, but that is expected to change soon.
“They [Iran] are probably not ready to do a deal yet, but they will be soon, because the price they are paying is very high,” Rubio told reporters in Manila.
