We can only express regret: Kremlin response to Pashinyan’s decision not to attend CSTO meeting
The Kremlin has commented on Nikol Pashinyan’s decision not
to participate in the CSTO meeting.
“If this is what they have decided, we can only express
regret. We understand that every head of government or head of state has his
own work schedule. But it is a pity, as such meetings offer a very good
opportunity to voice opinions,” Spokesperson for the Russian president Dmitry
Peskov said.
To remind, earlier, in a telephone conversation with Belarusian
President Alexander Lukashenko, Nikol Pashinyan had announced his decision not
to attend the CSTO meeting and had expressed hope that this decision would be
accepted with understanding.
