Russian Su-34 plane crashes

A Su-34 aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces has crashed in the mountains of North Ossetia, the Defense Ministry of Russia reports.

“In the Republic of North Ossetia–Alania, a Su-34 aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces crashed during a regular scheduled flight; the crew members have died,” the ministry said.

The initial cause of the crash was a technical malfunction.
