Manvel Khndzrtsyan, representing Armenia in the 2023 U23
World Wrestling Championships in the men’s freestyle 57 kg event, won a silver.
Beating the wrestler from Mongolia 13-3 in the semifinal,
Khndzrtsyan made it to the final.
Today, Oct. 25, the Armenian wrestler competed with Nachin
Mongush in the final and was beaten 11-0.
Khndzrtsyan entered the 2023 U23 World Wrestling
Championships from the eighth final, where he beat Cooper Flynn from the U.S.
11-0. The Armenian wrestler defeated the representative of Germany 2-1 in the
quarterfinal.
