At 10:05 a.m. on Oct. 23, an earthquake measuring 4.3 on the
Richter scale happened 31 kilometers southeast of Khoy, Iran. The earthquake
occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers.
At the epicenter, tremors measured five to six on the
Richter scale.
The earthquake registered a magnitude of two to three in the
towns of Kapan, Kajaran, Meghri and Agarak of Syunik Province.
