If Georgia does not return to the European path after the October 2024 parliamentary elections, it will also be a tragedy for neighboring Armenia, which is developing in the same direction and is in need of the Georgian bridge, Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili said.
“After the elections on Oct. 26, Georgia will either return to its European path—I am sure of it and I am sure that after that events will develop very quickly, and in June we will be in the top three with Ukraine and Moldova—or there will be no more Georgia, and it will be a tragedy not only for it, but also for neighboring Armenia, which is developing in the same direction, and which needs the Georgian bridge, and this will be a tragedy for the Caucasus and the representation of Europe in this region,” Zourabichvili said before the screening of the documentary film titled “Before Bucha there was Abkhazia”.
