Lasha Talakhadze not to participate in World Championships with reason known

Georgian weightlifter Lasha Talakhadze, three-time Olympic, seven-time world and European champion, will not participate in the World Championships, the International Weightlifting Federation of Georgia informs about this.

Talakhadze has been elected a member of the Parliament of Georgia by the Georgian Dream party.

The weightlifter became the gold medalist of the Olympic Games of Rio-2016, Tokyo-2020, Paris-2024 and became world and European champion seven times.
