Zakharova: Russia is exploring new opportunities for cooperation in the 3+3 format

Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova talked about the activities of the 3+3 regional consultative platform at a press briefing. According to her, Russia is examining ways to strengthen cooperation with the countries in the region within the framework of the 3+3 regional cooperation platform.

As Zakharova noted, this issue was discussed during the meeting of foreign ministers held in Istanbul on Oct. 18.

“Given the outcomes of this meeting, the Turkish side, which currently chairs this format, is undertaking necessary work with the other participants. At this stage, it is Turkey that is coordinating the process,” Zakharova stated.
