The President of the National Assembly of the Republic of
Artsakh Artur Tovmasyan announced his decision to join the sit-in, staged in
Stepanakert’s Revival Square.
The NA president noted that a sit-in is one of the extreme
methods of struggle, but is not a last resort.
“The total blockade of Artsakh brings about an
intolerable situation, which can have fatal consequences,” he said.
To remind, President Arayik Harutyunyan yesterday announced
his decision to join the sit-in as well. He noted in his speech that if within
a week the situation facing the people of Artsakh is not somewhat brought back
to an even keel by international intervention, they will have to take tougher
measures.
