Vance says significant progress made in Iran talks
US Vice President JD Vance has said that the talks held on Sunday in Switzerland with the Iranian delegation resulted in significant progress.
“We made great progress, we did exactly what we wanted to do,” he said, referring to the negotiations.
“We wanted to create a mechanism to keep the Strait of Hormuz open. It is open. We wanted to ensure that we created a mechanism that allows us to resolve inevitable conflicts,” Vance stated.
He added that following Sunday’s talks, technical teams will now continue their work.
