Rubio signs new memorandum on TRIPP

The conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan has ended, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said during a speech before the House Foreign Affairs Committee on the Fiscal Year 2027 State Department budget request.

“Not only did it end, but it ended with an agreement that I signed the MOU on yesterday, creating a new prosperity route, the TRIPP route, which will provide extraordinary opportunities for both countries, especially for Armenia,” Rubio said.

He also noted that the memorandum respects the sovereignty of both Armenia and Azerbaijan, allowing both sides to “to really benefit from that.”
