Iranologist Vardan Voskanyan posted a photo on his Telegram channel, writing: “This is a photo from the so-called book “Monuments of Western Azerbaijan”. The book was published by the barbaric regime of Baku back in 2006 and refers to Erebuni, the birthplace of our capital, as an “old Turkish fortress”.
This is the true face of the enemy: to create historical legitimacy for Azerbaijan in the territory of Armenia as well, thus paving the way for another assault of barbarians against us.”
