Zakharova thinks Alen Simonyan has been “devilized”

In a Telegram post, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova commented on Armenian National Assembly President Alen Simonyan’s statement, where he said that the Armenian Church does not pay taxes.

Zakharova also noted that there are demands in Ukraine to put the issue of the complete ban of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine back on the agenda.

“Why do those who come to be fed by Westerners become devilized in the truest sense of the word?” she wrote.
