A criminal case has been initiated in connection with the
statements that Former Defense Minister of Artsakh Samvel Babayan made on
Armenian Public TV and on the report on crime delivered on Oct. 6. The RA
General Prosecutor’s Office told Sputnik Armenia.
Samvel Babayan had urged the law enforcement officers to
bring a criminal case against the Artsakh authorities for the “cession of
Artsakh”.
“The proceedings were taken under two articles:
non-fulfillment or improper fulfillment of duties by a commander or an official
in a state of war or during a war or a battle because of negligence, as well as
the cession of a fortification, military equipment or other means of fighting
in battle to the enemy by a commander without being forced by the circumstances
of the battle,” the General Prosecutor’s Office noted.
