Referring to the establishment of peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan expects Turkey to contribute to peace so that they can live peacefully as two neighbors, Daily Sabah writes.
“This is what we wanted to achieve,” he said, adding that Ankara hopes to “solve the problems between Azerbaijan and Armenia, because both sides are in favor of peace.”
Erdogan noted that “peace between the two countries will open doors for new opportunities and achievements, and the process of normalization of Turkey-Armenia relations will also move forward.”
