We are often told to talk about social issues from the stage, but this is not a rally for social issues, this is a fight for dignity, Garnik Danielyan, an MP of the National Assembly, said during the rally in Republic Square.
“This is a struggle aimed to stop the road leading Armenians to Deir ez-Zor,” Danielyan said.
The MP also referred to compatriots forcibly displaced from Artsakh, noting that although the authorities always declare that Artsakh was a burden for us, that is not true.
“We all have a difficult but dignified way to go; no one can take that dignity from us. Dear people of Artsakh, you are not alone; we are your brothers and sisters; we are with you; we are one nation. Artsakh has never been a burden for us and it will never be,” Danielyan said.
He also noted that the Armenian people have been bringing the enemy closer to the capital day by day, and those who don’t understand this are blind or lack reason.
