Mi-28 helicopter crashes in Leningrad region; Crew members killed

A Mi-28 helicopter has crashed in the Leningrad region; all crew members have died, RIA Novosti reports, citing Russia’s Ministry of Defense.

“The aircraft fell in a remote area away from populated places, and the flight was conducted without ammunition,” the ministry said.

A search and rescue team has arrived at the scene, and a commission from the Russian Aerospace Forces has also been dispatched to the site of the accident.
