Moscow and Yerevan will continue to strengthen their
military and political cooperation. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander
Grushko said this to TASS.
“Armenia is our ally. We rely on each other in security
matters,” he said.
Referring to Chair of European Committee for NATO
Enlargement Günther Fehlinger’s statement on the possible membership of
Armenian in the North Atlantic Alliance, Grushko noted that the idea belongs in
the realms of fantasy.
“Armenia is a CSTO member, and we keep moving forward based
on this reality,” Grushko said.
