Israel announces death toll in Gaza

The number of Israeli soldiers killed in the fighting in the
Gaza Strip has reached 102. The Times of Israel reports, citing the press
service of Tzahal.

“Four soldiers, including two reservists, have been killed
in the fighting in southern Gaza,” reads the statement.

Earlier, it became known that the number of Israeli army
casualties had reached 98 in the battles in the Palestinian enclave.

Al Jazeera reported that the Israel Defense Forces were
attacking the city of Al-Bireh in the West Bank.

The Economist wrote the U.S. authorities demanded that Tel
Aviv end the military operation in the Gaza Strip before the end of this year.
According to the newspaper, Washington also demanded that Israel make bigger
efforts to relieve the suffering of Palestinians.
